"Still one of the nicest surprises in PMB. The building’s beautiful, and the gallery itself is actually well curated — proper South African art, not just random prints on a wall. It feels looked after. The staff are friendly and will point out what’s worth seeing if you don’t want to walk room to room reading every plaque.
It’s also a nice “grown-up” outing that doesn’t cost you the whole day. You can pop in for under an hour, then grab coffee or lunch nearby. It’s the kind of place you take visiting family so they stop saying “there’s nothing to do here.”"
