Reviews Summary

Visitors rave about the Montagu Village Market's charming, European-countryside feel and the high quality of its handmade arts, crafts, and food. It's praised as a friendly, community-focused event perfect for a relaxed Saturday morning. Some note that accessibility can be challenging for wheelchair users and that it closes a bit early for those traveling from further afield.

"Wandering through this charming little market takes me back to country villages in Europe. This is my second time to visit and yet somehow I still found some new things to enjoy. The products like those of Dandelion (rugs) and Moo 62 (small batch handcrafted yoghurt) are of high quality without breaking the bank. The elderly gentleman playing music, water bowls for dogs, benches under shady trees make this village market more than just another consumer hotspot."

Michelle Aldana

"It is a friendly market of village locals offering handmade arts and crafts, books and thrift items and quality food and beverages. It's a lovely way to spend a Saturday morning"

MICHELLE H-WRIGHT

"It opens on Saturday mornings and it's more of a craft exhibition than a market.

Many different people show off their skills and you can treat yourself to some really unque peices.

It's not too big, the variety is decent and beyond buying things, people are happy to answer questions and offer advice.

There's a toilet on site and it's located under trees which cools you down when it gets hot (and it does).

It's a bit difficult for wheelchair users to navigate and it closes a bit too early for tourists."
