"Do enjoy hiking at de Wildt. The hosts take care of you re hikes or events. Of course expect the loose sand and stones, although that is better than at some hikes nearby. Quite well marked. Lovely to see the dam from that side. Wear a hat doesn't matter which season it is. Look up the different hikes , you will find something that is right for you. As you start you need to get up the mountain, so the first km probably gets your heart rate up the most. It is worth it. Highly recommend the 8.5 and 12 km to enjoy the gorgeous gorge."
