From the moment I was picked up at the airport until my departure, every interaction exceeded expectations. The thoughtfulness started immediately when a representative in the airport car asked if I was hungry after my 16-hour flight and offered to have room service sent up to my room before I even arrived at the hotel. After such an exhausting journey, this level of consideration meant everything.
What impressed me most was the genuine warmth and attentiveness of every single staff member I encountered. Whether it was the front desk team, the drivers providing complimentary car service within the local area, or anyone else, everyone made me feel truly welcomed and cared for. The hotel isn't overly large, which I think contributes to this intimate, personalized experience, but it's clear the level of service comes from a culture of excellence rather than just having fewer guests to manage.
The property itself is beautiful and modern, and while it may not be as busy as some of the more established hotels yet, that only enhanced the peaceful, luxurious atmosphere. If you're looking for a hotel in Johannesburg where you'll be treated like a valued guest rather than just a room number, the Park Hyatt is an outstanding choice.

"Third Park Hyatt we’ve stayed at and by far the best experience. This is the smallest Park in the world and just opened as one in July. Definitely has the feel of a boutique hotel. I know I will forget someone but shout out to Clinton, Dutch, Paul, Paull, Turshfor, Ntombi, Max, Alex, Jacob, Daelin, Simphwire, Tshepong, Nothando, Nqobile, Cosmos, and any other team member I may missed! Talk about making you feel appreciated and loved for being a guest this was an experience second to none. Beautiful courtyard/pool area, older looking but well kept exterior, and modern rooms with anything you need. The food from breakfast to dinner was fantastic and congratulations on receiving a Michelin Key which just so happened during our stay! They even offer a complimentary shuttle, I believe 5km radius, in a new Mercedes electric car. Based on the number of guests during our stay we felt like the staff number was larger than the guest number. At checkout everyone that wasn’t busy came to say goodbye. There’s not a single bad thing that happened or I could point out."
