"Unforgettable Experience at Kapama!
We stayed two nights with family (12 of us) and it was magical. The resort is stunning, staff is super friendly, and the food & drinks were amazing.
Game drives in the wild were the highlight animals in their natural habitat, perfect for photography! Breakfast in the jungle and evening high tea made it extra special.
A must-do once-in-a-lifetime adventure!"

"This may be a once-in-a-lifetime adventure, but you have to do it! Drop what you are doing and make the reservation. The resort is magnificent. Friendly staff. Delicious food. Superb drinks. Seriously, make it a point to go to Kapama. Each morning and evening you get to see animals in there natural environment. Sleeping, eating, rolling in the mud, attacking. Perfect for photography."

"This is my fresh review of my recent stay at Kapama. In the end I will share the disappointment. I had booked to stay for 4 Nights at one of the Villas at the end of June (peek of the winter there). We wanted to have a villa safari experience vs a tent experience and that's why we booked Kapama. What a disappointment but I will get to that. First, I want to start by saying the staff was fantastic and they are the ones that make the experience memorable. The Villa was nice, didn't get to use the pool because it wasn't heated but its fine. The Spa was nice even though the Jacuzzi didn't heat up, just used the sauna. The food quality was average. We lowered our expectations for it very quickly into our stay. Here is where its start to go bad. The dining for breakfast, lunch and dinner was in the open. The room had a roof and was covered by two walls, but the rest was in the open. Remember that this is their winter and the temps in the morning and evening were as 50 degrees / 10 Celsius. We had to wear jackets while eating and there were no heaters available. Breakfast & Diner were served right after the freezing game drives. I got very cold and sick because of this. I thought we had booked a luxury experience and this didn't deliver. The last part that added to my cold were the game drives. The morning started at 6:30 am before sunrise and at the lowest temps. and the evening drives ended well past the sunset during the lowest temps. It was freezing, because we were in these SUV convertibles with no windshields or covers. Children and elderly rode on these. While the cars were moving it was unbearable. We asked them to adjust the drive times for a little later and they said no. We saw most of the animals when it was light out. After I got sick, we decided to leave 2 days early. We asked them for a refund, and they said no. We understood why they would say no, and we were ok with it. Here comes the worst part. On the day that we were going to leave, they called us in the room and asked us to vacate it because they had new guest coming in. Wow what a slap in the face that was. We technically had paid for the room and didn't have to leave, but we didn't want to cause a scene and packed our bags and vacated it. The rest of my trip in Cape Town I was cold and sick and didn't get to enjoy it. We reached out to management and the Head of sales and marketing Christiaan Steyn and told us that I wouldn't get a refund and that I shouldn't share my experience with anyone. This was my honest experience, and I personally would never go back to Kapama."
