What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Magalies Park Resort is praised for its beautiful landscape, stunning rooms, and a vast array of activities catering to all ages, making it a fantastic family getaway. However, some guests have experienced issues with noise levels from entertainment areas and inconsistent service quality at the reception and dining facilities.
"Beautiful venue and awesome amenities, but the practicality is horrendous. The bottom water plash area needs a ticketing system onsite for visitors to pay to enter.
Second but most important the staff at reception is non personal. Meaning no care attitude. Communication from them to cleaning staff is demeanour and no sense of strategic planning at all.
Customer satisfaction is key and there is definitely a huge gap between management and stafd"

"We had the worst time at Magalies park. We have visited the resort many times and usually have a pleasant stay but this time has been horrible. We are in a unit facing the Boma and entertainment area and have been constantly bombarded by noise, music and screaming people. We called reception 12 times last night and they finally stopped answering at 10pm. It then took us half an hour to reach security because there are no emergency phone numbers anywhere, finally found it on a tiny pamphlet on the table. We called them numerous times but the music and screaming only stopped at 12pm. After a horrible late night we finally got to sleep. Just to be woken up by monkeys on the roof and a very happy peacock at sunrise - this would have been a welcome wake up and what we came for to enjoy nature but after very little sleep it couldn’t be enjoyed. It is now Saturday and we obviously needed a mid day nap but guess what, as we lay down the music started blasting again! I’m writing this review now, before we leave as I see they say on other reviews to complain while you are still here. Who knows what tonight holds but hopefully someone will read this and ensure the noise levels are not completely ridiculous tonight. This is definitely not the relaxing family vacation spot we used to enjoy. There is 0 consideration for guests that are not jolling till midnight."

"We had a wonderful stay at Magalies Park! The staff were very friendly and welcoming. The chalets were beautiful, clean, and well equipped with everything we needed for a comfortable stay.
There were so many activities to enjoy within the resort — we especially loved the paddle boating and adventure golf, which were a big hit with the family. The variety of things to do really made our stay fun and memorable. The animals roaming the resort was the cherry on top.
Overall, Magalies Park is a fantastic place for a family getaway, and we’ll definitely be visiting again."
