Water is the second:
As it makes its way through the Garden, the water undergoes a number of changes of pace. It flows along in winding streams or accumulates in the pond.
The third is Plants:

"A great park to have in an ideal location. This park has been around for a long time and is much needed for the surrounding folk and even neighboring communities
Sufficient well spaced parking under great shaded trees. The area is a safe place to travel to and easily accessible. The whole that surrounds the park is well kept with high level maintenance.
The facilities at the park is in need of some attention, especially the toilet. There can be an addition to the present and also greater upkeep and repairs.
The Pick & Pay Hypermarket is close by and provides for an ideal opportunity to shop for all the necessary. Great to see the park still well supported.
Also ample play areas for kids and adults. Would highly recommend for a wonderful experience"

The Essence of Japanese Garden Design
These elements are arranged to create a miniature, idealized landscape that encourages contemplation and a connection with nature. The meandering walkways are intentionally designed to reveal new vistas and perspectives as you explore, preventing the garden from being seen all at once. This creates a journey of discovery, much like a walk through a natural landscape.
While the gardens are free to visit, some visitors have noted areas where maintenance could be improved, particularly regarding the facilities. However, the fundamental design and the natural beauty of the garden continue to offer a restorative experience for those seeking a moment of calm.
Family Fun and Relaxation
It's also a popular spot for picnics and informal gatherings. The presence of braai areas makes it convenient for families to spend a longer duration, enjoying a meal together in a beautiful natural setting. The open spaces allow children to run around and expend energy in a safe environment.
While the garden's primary appeal is its tranquility, the inclusion of these family-friendly amenities makes it a well-rounded destination that caters to both those seeking peace and those looking for a fun day out with children.
