"Great experience but a bit tough. So not really for beginners. Takes about 4 hours from Sandy bay parking (beach parking) to hike to the ship wreck and back. Around 11 km. Take water. Amazing views. Perfect nature trail along the ocean."

"Not quite for the beginner hiker! But such a great trail. It has a little bit of everything. If you are physically fit you'll make it to the shipwreck and back without issue. Bushes were dense in some spots, there are some tree limbs that you have to traverse (over and under), some lose ground, and 1 small rock wall that you have to climb, but overall a satisfying hike. Definitely not recommended for younger kids."
Nicole
"To experience refreshing views on this beautiful part of the atlantic ocean. A moderate walk of less than 8km to & fro from the parking in Kronenzight, Hout Bay. Bonus you get to relax on one of the very few Nudist beaches Sandy Bay in full attire without any intimidation. Simply Gorgeous. A must for any visitor."
