What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Visitors praise Miller's Point for its beautiful, clean tidal pools and scenic campsite views. However, strong winds, limited braai facilities, and the persistent nuisance of baboons are common drawbacks. Some campers also noted issues with noise from other visitors and a lack of onsite caretakers.
"Beautiful location and very clean area, but it was extremely windy, and when we were told we could not braai, even in the allocated braai spots, my excitement just faded away.
The space altogether is limited, and walking from the parking to the water area was a bit of a distance."
Shamiel Vigland
"The campsite was very scenic, and the bathrooms were very well maintained. It was very peaceful and quiet. But there were the odd camper that were playing music late at night. The edge of the cliff to the beach at the campsite was a bit messed up due to dirt being thrown out there. The baboons were a bit of a nuisance, but the rangers were quick to assist with their paintball guns.
The kid's park and tidal pool were ok. But you could also play in the sea. Great experience all over."
Mogamat Amien Dollie
"Lovely grassy place with great views of False Bay. Ablution facilities are OK considering it is municipal. There was always toilet paper, but sadly no soap in the dispensers. Limited braai facilities - not ideal. Baboons are a big problem, so you cannot leave anything edible outside of your locked car or caravan. Also there is no attempt made to have baboon proof garbage bins on caravan sites - You have to walk all the way to the ablutions to throw away your waste."
