What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Visitors praise the Geneva Bay Trail for its beautiful lake views, immaculate landscaping, and peaceful atmosphere, offering a welcome respite from busier tourist areas. The historic nature of the path and the opportunity to see stunning estates are highlights. However, some note the lack of direct transport connections to all trail ends and the need for good footwear and hydration due to limited shade and amenities.
"Really pleasant trial (same route back), lots of birds, iguana lizards, nice green flora.
2hr of walking or a bit longer if you visit every beach to look.
Advise to wear good shoes
Kids: doable of age 10"

"Considering that there is not much else to do on the island, other than pay a visit to Parotte Ville Bird Park, this is a nice break from the noise, Front street shops harassment and the cars. I got to the south trailhead on foot. Got off the trail and walked all the way to Salt pond.
Nice, peaceful hike and a good exercise. Take water and some snack with you, pause for a minute and just watch things around you. All the troubles melt away.
Four stars due to no transport connection to either of the trail ends. You have to rent or own a car."
Elena Vaytsel
"The hike is pretty, around 20 min to the Devil's Cupper.
It is not too hard but i wouldn't recommend it for people with walking difficulties or kids under 10 years old.
There are no shady areas, so remember to apply sunscreen and drink plenty of water.
People with fear of heights beware that some paths are on the edge of cliff !"
