What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Visitors praise The Artground for its engaging and interactive art installations that keep children entertained for hours. The affordable entry and creative environment are highlights, though some note that certain exhibits could benefit from maintenance or repair. Safety requires parental vigilance due to the nature of the art pieces.
"Kept my kid entertained for a while. There’re a couple of slides, a market and many other random stuff that caught my kid’s short attention. Would suggest bringing toddlers who can walk cause they’ll enjoy it more. Wasn’t too packed during the weekdays. Remember to bring your own bottle and socks. Also the parking is at block A."

"It’s an art installation and I think we have to remember that when we let the kids roam around the venue. There are a couple of slides and activities area, and the entry is very affordable compared to other indoor play areas in Singapore.
The safety aspect however is something parents and guardians have to take note of. The ramps don’t have any railings to prevent trips, there are sharp corners throughout the venue and the installations were certainly not designed to be child-safe for young fingers. The first step to climb up to the big slide was at least 60cm high, definitely not meant for young children to play unsupervised.
My kids came out with more bruises and bumps. However, I won’t say that it isn’t a place to visit, the kids certainly had fun 👍🏻"

"This is a wonderful space for children to experience interactive art in a playful, creative environment. The space is vibrant and thoughtfully designed, with a variety of activities to engage children in so many ways. My daughter had a blast exploring the entire space. It seems like a lot of thought has gone into designing the various play areas to spark imagination and creativity.
The only reason I’m not giving a full 5 stars is that some of the props and exhibits could use a refresh, fix, or replacement, as many of them were either broken or missing. Otherwise, it was a fantastic experience. I would definitely recommend The Artground for a fun, educational outing!"

Exploring 'Lost Islands' and Thematic Exhibitions
These exhibitions are designed to be highly interactive, encouraging children to explore, imagine, and create. The themes change periodically, often annually, meaning each visit can offer a fresh experience. This commitment to novelty ensures that The Artground remains a dynamic and engaging destination for repeat visitors.
While the installations are visually captivating and designed for play, it's important for parents to be aware of the safety aspects. Some areas might have sharp corners or require a certain level of physical ability, so close supervision is always recommended to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for all children.
Safety and Supervision Considerations
It's crucial for guardians to remember that these are art installations designed for creative play, and not all elements may be inherently child-proof for unsupervised exploration. The Artground team does strive to maintain the space, but the nature of interactive exhibits means some fixtures might occasionally be broken or missing, requiring attention.
Despite these considerations, the overall sentiment is that children have a lot of fun. The key is for adults to be present and actively involved, guiding their children through the space and ensuring they interact with the exhibits safely. This approach allows families to fully enjoy the creative and playful atmosphere The Artground offers.
