"Sri Veeramakaliamman is a Hindu Temple dedicated to goddess Kali, whose construction started in 1881 by Bengali workers. The entrance is a richly decorated Gopuram (tower) and also the interior doesn’t hold back on ornaments. You are allowed to enter only with covered legs, but they provide sarongs for free if you don’t have one. As a person coming from a totally different culture, seeing all the Hindu people praying has been a truly unique experience."
