Timing Your Visit for the Best Experience

While The Singapore Mint offers year-round appeal, consider visiting during off-peak hours to avoid crowds and ensure personalized service. Understanding Product Value

The Singapore Mint offers a range of collectibles, including gold and silver coins, medallions, and gold bars. While some items are priced close to the spot value of precious metals, many are numismatic pieces with added value for their design and collectibility. These are often best appreciated as gifts or personal keepsakes rather than pure investments.

Reviews Summary

The Singapore Mint offers a unique collection of collectible coins, gold, and silver items, with popular themed bars featuring characters like Sanrio and the iconic Merlion. While many visitors appreciate the craftsmanship and novelty of these items as gifts or souvenirs, customer service experiences can be inconsistent, with some reporting unhelpful or rude staff, contrasting with others who found staff to be friendly and helpful.

"This outlet of Singapore Mint is not that big. It has quite a number of collections that are gold plated and affordable to be presented as a gift to kids as some are Sanrio characters (My Melody, Hello Kitty).

Classic patterns like pineapple, money tree, wealth, are available too.

The deceased Queen Elizabeth II's memorabilia are mostly in the form of paper money alike items.

Service wise is average. They told me to browse and call them if I need assistance."

Djoeis Shi

"A guy manning the counter today 29 March 2025 at about 1pm with a part timer I suppose. Part timer is pleasant. The male Full timer comes off as dismissive and snobbish at my enquiry. Asked if they sell silver dirham and the guy dismissively answered what's that and proceeded to ignore me and talk to the part timer.

Works at a bullion shop and unaware of bullion products. Further to that, has poor customer service skill.

Maybe I don't look the part. Perhaps must have minimal social strata status to shop here?"

Ina Adi07

"Went to collect pre-ordered item. The staff was friendly and helpful. They even gave a free gift."
