"Beautiful marshes with lots of birds calling even though this is quite a small park. It's about 1km from one end to the other.
Went there in the evening at about 6pm on a Saturday and saw no humans there, so we had the whole place to ourselves. The previous time I went there on a Saturday morning at 8am, there were just a couple more small groups. One of the bigger griups was actually quite loud with the chats and giggles which scared away some animals, so I'd suggest keeping your volumes down.
Be prepared for lots of mosquitoes. Transport wise it's easier to get in with a Grab, but very challenging to get out of the area because there are hardly cars around. Best if you can rent a car or cycle in. Saw a review about the Kranji Farms Shuttle but did a search and realised it ceased operations in end-2023. Nearest public bus stop is quite a trek away (3-4km), which I tried but wouldn't suggest because the roads in are single lane and built for vehicles only, not pedestrians.

"Super quaint and ulu place where most of the visitors are bird watchers (run into a few during the visit). Quite hard to reach because closest bus stops (let alone train stations) are kilometers away. Walking to the location is also hard since the road has no pavement. The upside is that it's free of charge and the observation tower at the end of the trail gives a nice vantage point over the bird reserve and Kranji Reservoir nearby. Maintenance works could've been better since some of the sheds seem to be quite run down."
