"Review of Food Republic @ Jewel Changi Airport (Basement Level)
This mega food court, located at the basement of Jewel Changi Airport, is popular with both locals and tourists, bringing together many well-known food stalls under one roof.
Below is what I’ve tried so far. I’ll continue to update this review as I explore more stalls.
⸻
Nana Curry Peranakan Cuisine — ★★★☆☆ (3/5)
A nine-time consecutive Michelin Bib Gourmand awardee, Nana Curry has built a strong reputation and a loyal customer base. I ordered the Chicken Curry with two roti prata for $9.50, which initially appeared to be fair value.
Upon tasting, I felt that the chicken seemed to be cooked separately and had not absorbed the curry paste well. The dish came with one drumstick, one potato, one piece of beancurd, and a few pieces of fried beancurd skin.
During my visit, service by staff member Lee Ping felt rather abrupt at times, which affected the overall dining experience. Unfortunately, the meal also did not sit very well with me afterwards.
My verdict: While the portion looks generous, the curry lacked depth, particularly in the chicken. Considering the reputation, I expected more. I’ll likely explore other stalls at Food Republic on my next visit."

"Was surprised the curry chicken noodle fared higher than expected. The chicken breast was tender & moist. Curry was decen & mildy spicy. Sambal was too sweet for me, hence didn't toss into my noodles."
The Rundown
"Tried Ya Fuh Mini Wok and got some beef hor fun for $8.80. Price is a lil high but tbf it's in jewel and the portion size is not bad at all.
Taste was p good. Nothing out of the world but would eat again. My partner tried the bak kut teh stall and quite liked it. Overall good spot to get a quick meal before your flight."
