Reviews Summary
Guests generally praise Andaz Singapore for its prime location with direct MRT access, stylish design, and excellent amenities like the rooftop bar and pool. The service is often described as friendly, though some minor service hiccups have been noted. The dining experience, particularly breakfast, is a highlight for many.
"A pleasant 3D2N staycation to celebrate our anniversary. The room, toilet and bed is clean with a beautiful view! Amenities are endless.
A minor hiccup at our originally booked room cause a minor inconvenience, but the staff and manager on duty (evening of 5 Dec) were helpful and upgraded our room! We're very grateful for the assistance rendered, especially on such occasion!
I have to commend their customer service as well as we had a cake delivered to the hotel, little did we know, that the hotel staff offered to deliver the cake from the lobby to our room! A major plus point!!
We couldn't have picked a better hotel for our special occasion!"

"The hotel is lovely and amenities abound. Unfortunately, the stay is was disappointing from a service side of things. The bellhops didn’t help with luggage, we had requested a cot (which was confirmed) but never got it, and the hot water for the shower took 15 minutes to warm up. I recognize these are not big problems, but at a hotel of this price I would expect better service."

"We stayed in 3 different 5 star hotels during our trip so got some perspective of the local standard. The architecture of the 9 year old building is very interesting. The underground station is right under the hotel and there are many shopping options nearby. You can walk even to MBS or the main museums.
The complex is huge so it starts to feel like a machine. Our previous boutique hotel was calmer and more exclusive. Everything worked still well and there were no lines to the breakfast room. The hotel plan with curved corridors makes the hotel room floors feel smaller in scale. There is a small gym and viewing platform on the highest levels. The latter was always closed when I tried to go there as it opens only 17 onwards. There is a guest lounge with free snacks.
The room was big but a bit worn out, but there will be a hotel room renovation soon. I visited some other room types as well and I liked the higher class rooms where bed faced the view and you can circulate around the bed to the bathroom and entrance area.
The breakfast looked fantastic in the first glance as it is divided into different themed sections and there is a lot of choice. It was horrifying to see that guests took a lot of food and barely touched it before the personnel took it away and it ended in garbage. They should do something for wasting food if they advertise making efforts to be sustainable. 😳 Best part of the breakfast was that they changed some of the dishes daily and there was a good quality juice bar and fresh fruit.
I heard that the banquet services were really outstanding."
