"Coney Island Park, also known as Pulau Serangoon, is a rustic and ecologically sustainable park located off the northeastern coast of Singapore. It's an excellent escape for nature lovers seeking a tranquil retreat from the city. The park is home to a rich variety of flora and fauna, with over 80 species of birds, as well as wild boars, macaques, and other wildlife.
Visitors can explore the island by cycling along its main 2.4 km path or walking through its diverse habitats, including coastal forests, grasslands, and mangroves. The park also features five small, rustic beaches and a unique Casuarina Exploratory playground made from recycled timber. It's a great spot for cycling, bird-watching, or simply enjoying a peaceful walk in a natural setting."

"Convenient located near Ponggol Coast MRT Station and mall. Just a 10 minute stroll from here. Pack your drinks and snacks from the mall before going as there are No water coolers/ drinking fountain on the island. There is a public loo and water taps to wash your hands and feet near the entrance but the water is not drinkable and not meant for consumption. Excellent for jogging, strolling or hiking or cycling. The highlight for me are the secluded pockets of beaches that are left in its original natural state amidst an oasis of natural unadulterated flora fauna and mangroves and majestic casuarina trees that shelter you from the elements, some towering 10 stories tall. Along the small shaft and sandy beaches you can see Pulau Ubin in the opposite direction. The water is surprising pretty clear and cleaner than what I had anticipated and experienced 35 years ago. The terrain is flat and easy for families with children to jog, walk or cycle as there are no steps, hills or steep paths. The last time I set foot on this island was in the year 1990 when I was in the Army national service for an overnight fishing weekend. We had to take a sampan (small manually operated single motor boat) from Ponggol Jetty. Glad to see they’ve kept the island natural and in its original state. Remember this is not a 24 hour park as both the park gates closed at 7:00pm nightly. So time your exit properly. And there are no street lights/lamps or electricity on the island."
