What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Salgirka Park is widely praised as a beautiful and versatile green space in Simferopol, offering a mix of natural beauty, historical monuments, and recreational activities for all ages. Visitors enjoy the peaceful atmosphere, the pond with boat rentals, and the playgrounds, though some note the water quality could be improved.
"This is a very beautiful place to visit and enjoy the nature. You will find yourself in a gigantic parc full of statues and other monuments dedicated to soldiers or past wars. One of the monuments is for example dedicated to the atomic catastrophe in Chernobyl from 1986. Else than that, there is a beautifuly made place where you can read the names of soldiers and in the middle the typical russian star with a flame that always burns.
There are places to sit down, relax and enjoy the view as well as some attractions for kids and adults.
There is the possibility to rent a small boat with padels for 300Rubles and go around the waters inside the parc. Or you can enjoy a round in the ferris wheel from where you can observe the entire city of Simferopole.
From time to time small festivals are held in one part of the parc, and you will find places where to buy the famous Kvas (a small cup costs about 20rubles) or other beverages. If you want some Ice Cream it should also not be difficult to find a stand for that.
The only thing I have to complain about is that the waters are not very clean. They really should put more effort in maintaining that clean too."
