Reviews Summary

The Crimean Trolleybus is celebrated for its affordability and the breathtaking scenic journey it offers, particularly the Simferopol to Yalta route. While some find the older vehicles less comfortable and the journey lengthy, the unique experience and stunning Crimean landscapes are consistently praised as major highlights.

"The journey around Simferopol begins with a legend. The railway station is a real architectural marvel. The building was built in 1951 in the neoclassical style and is considered one of the most beautiful train stations in Russia. It was designed by the famous mystical architect Alexei Dushkin, the same one who created the palace-stations of the Moscow metro. He invested secret symbols of ancient knowledge into the building of the Simferopol station.
On the clock of the 42-meter water tower you will see a clock with an amazing zodiac and unusual signs of the constellations Cygnus, Ophiuchus and Canes Venatici. The station tower is clearly oriented towards the sunrise on the day of the winter solstice, and on its spire a wreath of ears of grain was originally installed - a symbol of the fertility of the goddess Demeter. Every half hour a clock strikes over the city, and the tower seems to be the keeper of time - the past, present and future of Crimea.
On the roof of the station building there is a real pagan temple with rows of antique columns. At night it is illuminated and seems to float in the air. Very beautiful!
And also six pigeons on a fountain in the Italian courtyard of the station. Previously there were 8 of them, but someone noticed that they formed a swastika. True, the swastika was twisted in the opposite direction than the fascist one. But still, a couple of pigeons were dismantled out of harm’s way.
Unfortunately, now it has become more difficult to move around the station - some passages are blocked and there are guards for safety."
