What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Visitors find Sapun Ridge a powerful and essential historical site, particularly for understanding WWII. The scale of the memorial and the open-air exhibits are highly praised, offering a tangible connection to the past. However, some find the diorama ticket prices steep, and occasional reconstructions can limit the full experience.
"If you want to get ripped off and pay extra for nothing, probably food and alcohol positioning Since nothing there is fresh and authentic-Crimea is for you."
Roman K
"A must visit. The prices for viewing the diarama were disappointing..... For 2 adults and 2 children it came out to 1000 rubles. And we listened to general information about Sevastopol during the war. Maybe we got a tour guide like this :(. In another group we saw a girl guide; she had given us a tour the day before in the Museum of the Defense of Sevastopol of the 19th century (panorama). I liked it more. There are several types of Victory military equipment on the territory. In the middle of the mountain there are several fascist cannons. The location of the enemy trenches has been preserved. In some places they have been restored for reconstructions of events. Moved to the side and underfoot everywhere I gave away a few fragments to visitors as souvenirs, but didn’t even hear a thank you in return. For those who care about history, they should definitely visit."

"I really wanted to see the place I had heard about since childhood. The scale is impressive. True, I didn't manage to visit the diarama, my son wasn't feeling well... Maybe next time I'll be able to see everything in more detail."
