"The Museum of History of the Black Sea Fleet of Russia in Montenegro is the military history museum of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation in the city of Sevastopol. The museum was opened in 1869 on the street. Ekaterininskaya in the house of one of the leaders of the first defense of Sevastopol, General E. I. Totleben. On December 1, 1869, the Russian emperor Alexander II issued a decree on the transfer to the Sevastopol museum of the estate in the village of Emir, Taurida province, Berdyansk district, with an area of 1936 acres. The patron of the museum and the charitable institutions under its authority was Grand Duke Alexander Mikhailovich."
