What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Cerje Cave is a stunning natural wonder, praised for its impressive formations and refreshing coolness. However, its remote location and the absolute necessity of booking a guide well in advance are significant hurdles for visitors. Many find the lack of clear information and incorrect operating hours frustrating, leading to disappointment if not properly planned.
"You can go there but you will find a closed (huge) visitor center and parking for buses and cars. There is a path to the cave and a nice playground just before an entrance to the cave.
If You want to enter the cave, you have to book a guide in advance."
Nikola Nedić
"This not a normal cave for tourists. The working hours are wrong. The cave is in principle permanently closed. The website of the cave is useless, when you arrive to the huge closed ticket office, it gives some phone number to call at a place with no GSM signal. The cave can probably somehow be visited, but not sure what's the business case. You drive small streets to read the phone numbers, you come back to civilization to call the numbers, and in a month you come back for a booked tour.
The huge ticket office is big waste of EU money (this is my personal opinion not linked to my job:-).
Otherwise as a nice place for a short walk, picnic or to cool down I'd five five stars. As a cave closed and not usable."

"Refreshingly cold and beautiful :)
Not your everyday cave. It deserves a visit but you need a special permission to enter it as it's not easy safe. You can also just come for the entrance, it's also quite gorgeous on its own."
