What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Hotel Moskva is celebrated for its rich history, prime central location, and elegant ambiance, often enhanced by live piano music. Guests rave about the signature Moskva Cake and the quality of breakfast. However, some find the rooms to be small and dated, with occasional service inconsistencies noted.
"An important hotel in Belgrade, an historical place. I appreciate the live piano music, the fact that it's now non smoking 🚭 inside. The food is decent and the breakfast options too. The cakes are recommended especially the Moskva cake, their speciality. The rooms are small and the spa too. Even the presidential suite is not that big compared to the one in Hyatt or Square Nine. The location is perfect. Overall a good choice especially if you like traditional places."

"Beautiful hotel, with an excellent location. It seems a bit old, but it has an air of restrained, balanced elegance, without anything spectacular or opulent. The reception is quite small, but the pastry shop and the Tchaikovsky restaurant in the lobby add a great deal of elegance. At first I was given an extremely small room with a disastrous view of an interior courtyard. Later, upon insistence, my room was changed to a suitable one, with an interior staircase and a view of the city. They did not have slippers in any room or a spoon for putting on shoes, surprising for a hotel of this category. Another shortcoming, the lack of an iron in the rooms. For parking, which is quite expensive, you have to make a reservation in advance. I did not do it and I had a bit of discomfort.
All in all, Hotel Moskva is a place with personality that I will return to with great pleasure."

"I don’t casually hand out 5 stars, although in fairness and balance, I have to declare that I was prepared for it to be good, and so it was. I knew of its history and many famous guests, enough in itself to attract us, so forgive me for the cliché but it really did exceed expectations. The word ‘grand’ is well applied here. The rooms are big and the bed was huge. We had a lovely view out over a grand boulevard, the breakfast was first rate, service was efficient, well choreographed, and there was a 5* choice.
It’s historic, important and a worthy addition to your collection of fine European capital city hotels stayed-in
…and the spa is great too!"
