"Douta Seck is a government managed cultural centre. The old building is quite impressive. The main asset is its hall that is airconditioned and has features to show films. Seating is plastic chairs only. There are public toilets.
The garden is even more impressive and can be used for large scale concerts.
The place is poorly maintained due to lack of funds. Hiring prices are much more affordable especially to local organisers than commercial places. There is a huge generator, but usually it is not maintained as it would need so much fuel, that local organisers would hardly be able to afford making use of it."
