Reviews Summary

Arafat Plain offers a profoundly spiritual and humbling experience for pilgrims, with well-organized tents and ample water. While the facilities, particularly restrooms, can be challenging during peak times, the overwhelming sense of unity and the spiritual significance of the Day of Arafah make it a memorable and essential part of the Hajj journey. The spiritual atmosphere is consistently highlighted as a major positive.

"Large tents to accommodate hajjis. Everyone gets a sofa bed and there is food buffet just outside. Toilets are close by but do need better maintenance and could do with more toilets. Alhumdulillah great experience"

EI Loonat

"I stayed at the Arafat tents during Hajj 2024 and overall had a positive experience. The tents were clean, well-ventilated, and decently organized considering the huge number of pilgrims. The air conditioning worked most of the time, which was a blessing in the intense heat.

There were plenty of water coolers available and the staff was helpful in managing crowd flow and cleanliness. The spiritual atmosphere was beautiful and humbling — being in Arafat with so many people from around the world is truly a once-in-a-lifetime moment.

Only reason for not giving 5 stars is that the bathrooms could’ve been better maintained during peak hours, and the food distribution was a bit chaotic at times. Still, it’s understandable given the scale of the event.

Overall, a memorable and well-managed part of the Hajj journey."

We went out after Asir, to Mount Arafat, hoping it would be a bit cooler than after Zuhr.
It not far, and as you walk down the road, I counted 3 ice cream vans, various others handing out fruit & bottles of water...all for free. As well as this, there are people who spray you with water vapour to cool you down.

Overall, a memorable and well-managed part of the Hajj journey."
