What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Wallilabou Bay offers a unique 'Pirates of the Caribbean' themed experience with friendly locals and surprisingly affordable, delicious Creole food. While some find the movie set elements a bit gimmicky and facilities like restrooms basic, the clear waters and value for money make it a worthwhile stop, especially for film fans.
"The place is decorated with ‘Pirates of the Caribbean’ theme. Nothing much to see, only some vintage telephones, printers, an old piano, some leftovers tools from its movie set, a restaurant with Jack Sparrow and couple of pirates mannequin. If you go around with boat, would be more interesting, water is so clear that you can see the corals."

"It's okay. It's a set for Pirates of the Caribbean with some statues and stuff from the film. It's a bit gimmicky, and the old wooden building had bats flying about (bats freak me out). There are toilets but they don't really flush, and there is only one for women so the line was quite long. It's a pretty area but not worth the visit, in my opinion."
Sharon
"It was as busy as you would expect.
Restaurant was full looked nice. Beach was volcanic ash but sea was warm. If your not fussed on pirates of the Caribbean would probably miss it off."
