In 1674 renovations were being done on the Tower of London. Workmen found the skeletal remains of what appeared to be children underneath the staircase of the White Tower. It was immediately and unequivocally assumed that these remains were that of the two sons of King Edward IV. In 1933 it was decided to re-examine the bones to see if any conclusions or further information could be ascertained. W...

Reviews Summary

Visitors praise Uralmash as a unique monument of constructivism and a national treasure, appreciating its bold architecture and potential for urban renewal. However, many lament its current state of neglect and crumbling structures, highlighting the urgent need for restoration and preservation efforts.

"Exactly as described. Can't fault it. Surrounded by grassy area ideal for dogs to relieve themselves. Convenient petrol station just next door. Couldn't climb unfortunately, but apparently you can book."

"To be watched"

Yury Ulyanov

"A monument of constructivism. A national treasure! It is being destroyed and ruined every day. There was an attempt by a group of talented guys to take this building, use it, and give it a new life. In fact, the door is closed, there is junk from its former life inside, the structure itself is crumbling and has already acquired a sad, abandoned look. The building itself is the dominant feature of the Uralmash district, and with its careful restoration and architectural lighting, it is an urban masterpiece. There is a large central concert hall and a green park nearby. If desired, you can remove the auto repair shops, clear the square and create a new, modern urban space with a masterpiece of constructivism in the center."
