Reviews Summary

Visitors describe the Rudnik and its bridge as a hazardous but historically significant site, offering a picturesque yet gloomy atmosphere reminiscent of video game locations. While the bridge is a landmark, its dilapidated state is a major concern, with many lamenting the lack of tourism development that could potentially revitalize Vorkuta.

"bit of a hazard but absolute history"

Marco Santoyo

"The view from the bridge is one of the most picturesque I have ever seen. At that moment there was a light rain and fog, which is why this place looked like a location from a game. The Rudnik itself is quite gloomy. Almost nothing is left in the houses, and all the walls are demolished, which is why you can calmly walk around the entire floor without leaving the entrance. If you go a little further than the city, then next to the abandoned plant there will be a working railway, if you are lucky, you can see a train
If you are ever "lucky" to go to Vorkuta, I recommend visiting this place"

Ваня Евстигнеев

"After all, they knew how to build before!
All the administrations gave up on it a long time ago, not without vandals and metal workers, and the harsh conditions around - and the old bridge is more alive than all living things, it will stand for another 50 years until it is finally dismantled for metal (
It’s a shame that Vorkuta is dying... If you wanted, even this bridge with an unusual design could be “breathed into a second life” and then it would definitely stand for another 100 years. It’s a pity that no one even needs tourism there. But what kind of ski resorts there were in their time, potatoes in the tundra on a fire... And trips to the Urals, because it’s just a stone’s throw away...
It’s a shame that no one needs anything((Tourism could help Vorkuta survive."
