"Museum of Forgotten Things.

We were walking around Vologda and stopped in to warm up :) learned a lot of interesting things.
The museum was opened in May 1991 and occupies a wooden mansion from the mid-19th century!
The exhibition contains two sections: on the first floor - "The World of Forgotten Things", which reveals to visitors the culture and life of the townspeople in the pre-revolutionary era.
On the second floor there is an exhibition "History of Vologda Portrait of the 18th-19th Centuries" from the noble estates of the Vologda province.
In the hall of the third floor there are exhibitions of relics from family collections and archives.
I especially liked the furniture and porcelain cups on legs - I have never seen anything like them!
Ticket price: 120 rubles. Go, you won't regret it!"

"A wonderful small, cozy museum. It tells a very interesting story about the objects that accompanied the lives of our ancestors. I recommend taking a guided tour, as the guide's narration reveals this world in all its fascinating detail. Group tours are available on certain days, and the prices are pleasantly surprising."

"I recommend visiting for those interested in historical interiors. These may not be authentic items, but they are well chosen. The rooms for different purposes are furnished with appropriate furniture. The children's room and home theater impressed me. It's a pity there is no bedroom. The three floors of the mansion give an idea of the life of wealthy people of that era. A wonderful place!"
