What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Visitors praise the museum for its stunning crystal collections and the unique, atmospheric setting within a former Old Believer church. The compact nature makes it a quick and enjoyable stop, though some have noted issues with payment methods at the ticket counter.
"Interesting architecture. Did not manage to visit the museum"

"We didn't have time to go from Vladimir to Gus-Khrustalny, and this museum became a good alternative to see the crystal beauty. There is a small but very beautiful collection of products from the Gus Crystal Factory. What makes it unusual is that the museum is located in the building of a former Old Believer church, and the exhibition in the large church hall looks very interesting. At the exit from the museum there is a souvenir shop, it also has many beautiful things made of crystal and glass."

"An unusual red-brick church for Vladimir, with unusual architecture, and now it looks unusually located on a site in the very center of the city, but without any adjacent temple territory. This causes some "confused" feelings: either it is a church, or it is not a church... I read that the local Old Believer community is starting to lay claim to it. It is very difficult to imagine that if this church is returned to them, it will be able to exist without its own territory, especially since Old Believer churches are sacrals, usually very closed to idle visitors and very often located behind a high blank fence. I cannot imagine a solution to this problem that would suit everyone. And of course, no museum exhibits will be able to be placed there."
