"A good theater, previously called the Musical, and now proudly Opera and Ballet. Very democratic ticket prices, compared to St. Petersburg. A wide and interesting repertoire. The hall, chairs, parquet and much more have remained unchanged since Soviet times. Memories of childhood came flooding back to me. Pleasant feelings. To some extent, I envied the residents of Syktyvkar, the city is small, and you can go to the theater in the literal sense of the word, and in terms of costs, a cultural evening is quite affordable."

"The theater was fine and the production was interesting: popular arias from various operas. We had a great time. The only thing we didn't like was the theater cafe. The decor was gray and black, and the chairs were incredibly heavy, too heavy to move! We ordered cappuccinos and pastries. The coffee was lukewarm, apparently mixed with cold milk. When we asked why the coffee was "barely alive," the girl behind the counter denied it, saying she had the milk warmed up. Overall, we didn't like it, even though they charge a pretty penny!"
