Reviews Summary
Imeretinsky Resort offers a modern stay in the Olympic Village with good amenities like pools and active pursuits. However, guests frequently cite issues with lengthy check-ins, inconsistent room cleaning, and dining hall shortages. "A beautiful modern hotel with a high level of service, swimming pools, animation, located in the Olympic Village, not far from the Olympic Park. The resort's atmosphere is conducive to a healthy lifestyle. In the adjacent territory you can rent bicycles, a yacht, go surfing on a board, learn rollerblading. Boutiques with fashionable sportswear near the yacht club, delicious donuts and milkshakes. The climate is very favorable, the weather is mostly sunny, a beautiful coastline with large pebbles."

"A good hotel for 2-3 days if you are active and only sleep there. Some rooms have a view of the port and the sea. Excellent room service: they take into account your wishes for salt and spices. The spa is not friendly and not informative about the services offered. Check for yourself whether there are any mass events in the Imeretinka area so that you can drive up to the hotel by taxi or car. We tried to drive up to the hotel when a sporting event was taking place near the hotel. All roads were blocked. The managers of the club floor and reception were not aware of this and even when the event would end and the entrances would open. Here they do not think about such things as informing in advance and offering parking options or the nearest landing. Apparently people with disabilities need to walk 4-5 km themselves. Guarded parking at the hotel is paid 100 rubles per hour or 500 per day for hotel guests, not included. There are public parking lots near the congress center and on the sailing. And the entrance to the hotel. But it is not guarded, as is the entrance itself, apparently, with video cameras. In the morning we met a man slowly urinating near the entrance. But the guards can kick the local dog at the entrance. This is not pleasant for children and people who love dogs. Quote from the guard: "don't teach how to work." In addition, without investigation and evidence, the hotel can accuse you of smoking in the room and on the balcony with a fine of 8 thousand rubles. When asked to draw up a protocol of an administrative violation, the charges were withdrawn. For a non-smoker who invited an employee to the room to form an opinion on how much it smelled of smoke, when asked whether the smoke detectors worked, everything was ignored. All this is very unpleasant. But apparently quarantines and closed borders give them a huge flow of tourists and only stimulate them to raise prices. It's a shame. Last year it was more pleasant to relax here."

"The positive reviews have nothing to do with reality. The rooms aren't cleaned, and the dining room lacks dishes. A child would be completely bored here. And don't even think about staying late or checking in after midnight—you'll be waiting for dawn outside with the doors closed."

Common complaints include lengthy check-in processes, inconsistent room cleaning, and shortages of dishes and food in the dining room. The spa has also received criticism for unhelpful staff.
Navigating the resort during events in the Olympic Park can be challenging due to road closures, and guests have reported a lack of proactive information from management regarding these disruptions. Parking is paid, and there are concerns about security and guest conduct in public areas. The resort's suitability for families with young children has also been questioned due to a perceived lack of engaging activities.
Navigating Imeretinsky Resort: Practicalities and Pitfalls
For those traveling by car, be aware that parking at the hotel is a paid service, with daily rates applicable. While public parking is available nearby, it may not offer the same level of security. A significant point of concern for visitors is the resort's proximity to the Olympic Park, which, while offering a unique location, can lead to road closures during events. This can severely impact accessibility for taxis and private vehicles, and guests have noted a lack of clear communication from the resort management regarding these disruptions and alternative access routes.
Dining experiences can also be a point of contention. There have also been instances where food from previous meals was repurposed, leading to concerns about freshness.
