When you search for “Theatre of Nations” the first few results you get are fraud websites, done excellently well, so you don’t suspect anything.
Also I called the ticket office to ask whether they have English subtitles, which they confirmed, and it was a complete lie!
The address of the theatre in google is wrong - when you type “Theatre of Nations” the address appears to be opposite to Bolshoy theatre, which is wrong!
When we found the real theatre and complained about the ticket fraud system - the staff was not surprised and said it had nothing to do with the theatre, of course they wouldn’t try to sue them or try to prevent - I am sure they are affiliated with the fraud.
I know what you think- It is my fault, “don’t click on dodgy adds in the corner of the page”. But mind you, I am not a complete idiot, I speak the language and I am usually aware of this kind of scams. But the quality of the website and the first line in the google search suggested that it was genuine....
