Reviews Summary

Visitors consistently praise Molodetsky Kurgan for its breathtaking Volga River views and unique winter ice formations. The hiking trails are considered accessible, and the natural scenery is described as magnificent and mesmerizing. Some find the entrance and parking fees a bit high, and the rocky entry into the water can be a drawback for swimmers.

"We came here from Ufa, a beautiful place, gorgeous sunset, the water is not dirty, the entrance to the water is difficult because of sharp stones. The beach itself is fine sand, clean and cozy. Not many people. There is a paid beach, paid parking, you have to pay for almost everything per person, per tent, per car. You can go to the mountains for a walk."

"A very beautiful place, our nature is magnificent! The view of the Volga is gorgeous. It's just mesmerizing! The climb is not particularly difficult, it's suitable for walks with children, it takes about 45 minutes one way. In 1.5 hours we walked around the Molodetsky Kurgan and the Maiden Mountain, made a big circle. The entrance is paid, since this is the territory of the reserve, 300 rubles per person. There is a toilet on the territory, it is, of course, wooden, but it's better than nothing, along the way there are information signs about the flora and fauna."

"Molodetsky Kurgan is attractive at any time of year. I haven't been there in the summer, I plan to this year. But I am absolutely delighted with the winter Molodetsky Kurgan. And all because this place is compared to winter Baikal. The purest ice, the smoothness of the surface - many take skates with them. The local attraction is located 110 km from Samara. The signs will not allow you to pass this place. You must leave your car in the parking lot (50 rubles), a ticket to the protected area "Samara Luka" - 50 rubles per person, children are free. Be sure to have cash ready. The direction of people will show the way: some go to the top. The most famous mountain of Zhiguli. And the second path - leads to the Volga - a snow-covered path. I walked along the Volga, since the goal was to visit the local Baikal. The view is gorgeous, the smoothness of the ice, cleanliness. Dress warmly - a very strong wind. A must-see!"
