The surrounding park's beauty, tranquil air, and sense of solitude are highly praised, making the hike a rewarding experience for nature lovers and adventurers.
"First we found stone mushrooms. And then real ones. A very good place."

""Red mushrooms" is a unique natural monument, a small picturesque group of reddish sandstone rocks. They are located near the Rose Valley of Kislovodsk Park. The path to these mushrooms is winding and steep - an asphalt road with a 600-meter climb leads to them. On the way to the mushrooms we met a peacefully grazing bull, a pack of walking dogs and a handsome bay stallion on a walk. This part of the park is quite sparsely populated, it breathes loneliness and abandonment. Perhaps, partly because there is an abandoned and crumbling swimming pool built for the 1980 Olympics. At some distance from the red mushrooms, there is an observation deck on a hill."

"Judging by the photos online and Google Maps, I expected something more impressive and majestic. In reality, there were two large boulders and a couple of smaller ones, all red-tinted, which, with some preparation and a good imagination, could easily resemble mushrooms, as they're commonly called. Perhaps the beauty of the park itself, the tranquility, and the pristine air make up for the time spent more than the sight of this landmark. I recommend visiting for those who enjoy adventure and hiking. If long hikes aren't your thing, stick to the red rocks. They're closer and more majestic."
