All the works on display are by artist Nina Nikifirova. Nina Nikifirova was once a successful pediatric surgeon practicing laser medicine. But in 2003, she suffered a car accident, which took years to recover from. It was during her rehabilitation, to regain her hand function, that Nina began crafting from various materials: old items, plastic bottles, cardboard boxes, lids, polyethylene... It's worth noting that Nina has been concerned about environmental pollution since an early age. And who would have thought that these exercises would grow into a lifelong passion and an innovative environmental education project...
Nina Nikifirova is now a laureate of the French National Prize, has participated in over two dozen solo exhibitions, and her works are in private and museum collections around the world.
While in the gallery, we knew perfectly well what all the exhibits were made of, but we still stopped in front of each one, peering at them and wondering, "Oh, really! A bag!? An egg carton!?"
And also... I wish all museums treated visitors like this...

"The White Horse Gallery of Contemporary Art is located in Gelendzhik in the Golubaya Bukhta microdistrict. Consists of three exhibition spaces: open-air, summer pavilion, exhibition hall. In addition, a workshop is available to visitors, where, on occasion, you can see the process of the birth of new art objects.
All works of art, landscape forms, interior items are made from recycled materials (garbage). The author of the presented works of art is the laureate of the French National Prize "Land of Women 2011" Nina Nikiforova. It should be noted that her personal exhibitions were successfully held in various cities not only in Russia, but also in Bulgaria, Spain, Romania, Ukraine, and Montenegro. Her works are in private collections in Germany, Spain, Italy, and the USA.
Nina Nikiforova herself is a pediatric surgeon by profession. In 2000 she moved to Gelendzhik. After the accident in which Nina Nikiforova suffered, she underwent a long rehabilitation process. It was then that she began to engage in creativity. She made her works from various unnecessary trash, paper, wood and other scrap materials. Soon she was accepted into the association of artists of Gelendzhik, and then the idea of creating her own gallery was born. The opening took place in 2006. Its mission was based on the idea of involving people in environmental issues.
Unfortunately, the gallery itself is located far from the center of Gelendzhik and transport routes. Nevertheless, the atmosphere itself in the White Horse will leave a pleasant impression. Here you will immerse yourself not only in the work of the master, but also in many pressing issues of our time.

It is very interesting that each work has its own unique story of creation. We express our deep gratitude to the spouses Vladimir and Nina for the accessible opportunity to see the new world of “art” and look at the pollution of the surrounding world from the other side, this is a very big problem and it needs special attention, not to hush up and not to remain silent!
