"Tatarstan begins with Bolgar.
This ancient city in Tatarstan is great for getting acquainted with history and is one of the main attractions of the republic.
A fascinating trip to a place rich in archaeological monuments will not leave anyone indifferent."
Mrs. Valeriya Gray
"Didn't like it. Only the White Mosque 🕌 is beautiful and interesting to visit. I didn't like anything else in Bolgar. We also couldn't find a normal cafe - we went to Pyaterochka for food. It takes 3 hours to get here from Kazan and the same amount of time back for the sake of the mosque and Pyaterochka... I don't recommend it."
Stanislav Sss
"It's beautiful, we go every year, there aren't enough old national dishes, something like teahouses, courtyards where they cook eshpochmak, belyashi and bread in ovens, there's nothing national, traditional, there are tents and eateries with dumplings, there aren't enough normal conditions, eating and a sense of antiquity"
