What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Visitors rave about the Seven Ladders Canyon for its stunning natural beauty, thrilling ladder climbs, and unique waterfall experience. It's considered a must-do family adventure near Brasov, offering a memorable blend of hiking and adrenaline. Some find parking challenging and note the need for cash for entry fees.
"Very nice canyon, ladders, waterfalls, nice hikes and beautiful scenery. Very famous in the area. It is difficult to find a parking on the street, you need to park in one of the parking lots for a fee (Lei 20-25). Entrance fee to the 7 ladders in only Lei 25 per person. The zip lines however are optional, and charged separately. We went on a weekend (Saturday), there was a long line and it took us over 30 minutes to start the 7 ladders. But, it was worth it. Recommended."

"The nature, trail, and stairs are wonderful.
It takes about 2-3 hours round trip for casual hikers. Some parts of the trail can be a bit challenging, and the stairs can be slippery.
Proper hiking shoes and plenty of drinking water are a must.
There is not even a single trash bin along the trail — not even at the ticket point for the zipline and stair access (yes, there is a fee: 20 RON for adults / 10 RON for children, ONLY CASH).
⚠️ Important: after the stairs, the return is not on the same path — be sure to follow the other marked sign!"

"Extremely beautiful canyon and well maintained safety installations. Be prepared for some adrenaline while you climb, especially Ladder 3 ( "don't look down" type of situation). Perfect for the entire family. Myself ( @40) and my 68 year old Mum really enjoyed it, and I am planning to bring my teenage daughters next year. I have seen plenty of younger kids completing it and really enjoying it. Well worth your time and money."
