"I can't comment on the gondola as I didn't take it, as it was raining. The fares seem a little expensive, a return trip to the middle station (1400m alt) is 60 lei for adults, and a return to the top station (2000m alt) is 95 lei.
There is a network of mountain biking paths of varying difficulty, and you can put your bikes into the cabins to take them up and ride down. There is also a ski resort in the winter.
