What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Guests praise the Palace Hotel Sinaia for its excellent location in a beautiful park and its stunning, historically restored common areas that evoke a bygone era. The rooms are generally clean and comfortable, with some standout corner studios. However, some visitors note outdated furniture, inconsistent staff attitudes, and issues with Wi-Fi and bathroom quality, alongside mixed reviews on the restaurant's food.
"Pros
Excellent location in the center of the resort but also quiet thanks to the superb park in front. Numerous restaurants, terraces and shops nearby. The halls and common areas have been beautifully restored, with objects that try to recreate the atmosphere of the era. The exterior of the hotel is wonderful in its entirety. The rooms, although small, have elegant wallpaper and new, comfortable beds. The parquet floor and the lighting fixtures have also been restored. Breakfast quite varied and tasty.
Cons
Outdated, scratched furniture. Totally uninspired idea in a decor that is intended to be similar to that of the early 20th century to introduce glass doors both between the bedroom and the small entrance hall to the room and to the bathroom. The bathrooms have been restored but not with the highest quality materials, the toilet seat made of the cheapest plastic. The consumables offered very stingily, a small round soap, the size of a coin and a tea bag-sized sachet of shower gel. The reception staff with different attitudes. One day a grumpy and bored gentleman who seemed annoyed by any question, another day, a jovial young man eager to be of help"

"Went for lunch on Saturday in September. Place is nice as you walk in however the food was awful. I have never had such over cooked fish. We had the Salmon and the Trout and both terrible."

Located in the heart of Dimitrie Ghica Park, it’s steps away from Sinaia’s main attractions like the casino and monastery. The rooms are spacious and beautifully designed, the spa and pool offer perfect relaxation, and the restaurant serves delicious meals in a refined setting.
