"While on the outside it might not look like much, I think this was one of the best experiences I've had in the city because of how beautiful the house looks inside. It has been recently revamped and the furniture, personal belongings, cutleries, dishes and ornaments are presented in great taste.
This memorial house which belonged to one of the most illustrious Romanians of the 19th century can be visited by foreigners who don't know, or don't care about Romanian history, the experience of the house itself makes it worthwhile. It reminded me of similar museums in Krakow or Prague
You can buy a ticket on the spot, but best is the 7 museums ticket you purchase at the palace in the center, that way you get a discount"

"The museum has been nicely restored. It was the house of one of the important statesmen involved in events from middle of 19th century onwards, with Romanian revival & revolution, the unification and the Royal times. Lots of interesting exhibits and there was also a gastronomy temporary exhibition."
