Reviews Summary

Visitors consistently praise the Romanian Kitsch Museum for its charming and authentic portrayal of 19th and 20th-century bourgeois life in Bucharest. The intimate setting, detailed decor, and friendly staff are frequently highlighted as major positives. While some note its small size and potentially higher price point for the duration, most agree it's a worthwhile and visually delightful experience, especially for those interested in vintage styles and photography.

"Amazing museum where you can see the furniture, clothes and different objects that used to be owned by a middle or high class family in Bucharest during the 19-20th century.

Really worth a visit, even though it is rather small (the museum is inside an appartment, each room having furniture and decorations fit for the time period). The price is ok considering the size of the museum.

It makes for great pictures and it helps understand the lives of people back in the day."

Maria-Alexandra Chiriac

"The museum is very little, just 5-6 rooms, but the mood and the feeling is nice. The only staff is a friendly, well trained with perfect English lady who presents the content. Recommend talking to the lady and benefiting from her knowledge. Recommend a visit. The visit can take a maximum of 30 minutes."

"Very little place it doesn't have many rooms BUT! The rooms have very interesting stuff from the old times when Romania was influenced by the French
Costumes chairs tables jewellery and alot more.
Every inch of it is worth watching and the stuff there is very helpful and chill.
Lastly some tips:) you can order some tea if you want and enjoy it in some collective porcelain cups on the chairs inside and also you can try some old costumes that they have and take pictures ( with extra payment for sure but an interesting add )"
