"Do not visit at the daytime during summer, it’s scorching hot and you won’t be able to enjoy yourself at the place. There are gorgeous minarets and Islamic architecture but the place felt a little disjointed to me, as if some of the structures or tourist spots were thrown together rather haphazardly."

"A pure heritage site of the Qatari people. A journey into their past with a mix of the modern day. The Blue mosque, the Gold mosque and the minarets were beautiful to see. A look at the Pearl/Dhow museum gives insights into the pearl industry of then. A touch of modern life is the amphitheatre which host cultural and music events including the Philharmonic team. The beach front provide the view of the sea with shorelines extending as far as can be seen. Really had a great time exploring the Katara."

"A gem of place for tourists and locals to visit. Stores are upmarket with some big names and brands available here. Restaurants are high-end. Outdoor AC makes it comfortable to walk even in Qatar's peak summers. The cultural village part brings the new and the traditional Doha together. A huge amphitheatre and the beach with the views of Pearl Doha and food kiosk makes it very appropriate for family outings."
