"The market was fantastic. They had a wide variety of local fruit and vegetables, a local cacao vender, plenty of juice stands, a couple bakeries, all the art vendors from Thursday, and my favorite, a local family that makes cheese from their cows. My only regret was not buying more cheese!
For fruit, we brought home Mamey Sapote (Three on top), Guayaba (guava), a coconut, dried starfruit, and something else I forgot the name of (maybe Jobo?) but is delicious!
We also brought home pickled local sweet peppers, which are incredible, that epic local cheese, and some tomatoes a guy grew in his backyard.
Most of the local bars and restaurants are open at the same time as the market, and the vibe is comfortable happy community island life.
Note the rig I didn't get at the market, I had to buy that at the smoke shop down the road 🤙🏼 And the sauce from a local medical Dispensary 😉"
