"More like Playa Infortunio. It is right next to a sketchy neighborhood with feral cats and dogs roaming around. Trash is scattered on the beach. There are a few pretty palm trees, but they were the only redeeming features. The water is shallow and uninviting with sea grass wrapping around your feet when you wade in it. Granted, I was there when it was raining, making the water look murkier and even less appealing than it already was, but I was sorely disappointed. Avoid this beach."

"Plenty of parking and the beach is never packed, even on the weekends. We stayed at an airbnb less than a city block away in June (full week) and never saw crowds. Lots of trash, but there are no trash cans available, so be sure to bring a bag so as not to add to the problem. Not too many stray dogs in the area, but I kept a bag of food in my rental the whole trip. Unrelated to the beach, but if you love dogs, buy food when you land."

"Nice beach, A short walk to the Luquillo strip of restaurants and bar. water looks beautiful. Lots of seashells. It's easy to get to, free parking right in front of beach. It was quiet for Sunday afternoon, not many people. Just perfect. There was a little trash, people take your trash and any other you see around where you sit."
