What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Reviews for the Centro de Ciência Viva Porto Moniz are mixed, with many highlighting its suitability for children and its excellent location next to the stunning natural pools. Some visitors find the exhibits basic for the price, while others praise the service and food in the general Porto Moniz area. It's often described as a small, educational stop rather than a major attraction.
"I could describe the place as a hobby garage. It is not worth to visit and pay for this negative experienece. Absolute basic, anywhere else an exhibition is minimum 5-10 times bigger and better. You can buy a combine ticket wherewith you can visit the aquarium (which is some minutes away on the main street) and this center. Please avoid, again not worth. Not what one expects from an aquarium & museum. Both places are almost pathetic. Spend your time around Porto Moniz."
