"It’s one of those beautiful Portuguese churches that give the feeling of the focus and love that has been shared there for so many years.
We went to hear a friend in a choir and after 40 minutes of pipe organ music bailed. Everyone seem to be enjoying it But as a musician, I think the pipe organ might’ve come from the 17th century and hasn’t been completely upgraded or tuned for the last 150 years because it just was difficult to listen to."
John Williams
"Beautiful 12th century church with art work from surrounding and now closed churches added. Weekly masses in Portuguese and one in English. Tours are nice and include other nearby churches for a modest fee that goes toward maintenance of the churches."
