"A great hike from Sesimbra. The only problem is the start of the trail, as you first have to follow the main road steeply for 20 minutes. After that, there are countless smaller trails that all ultimately lead to the same destination. It's worth bringing sturdy hiking boots and food, as there are no purchases along the way. We didn't meet any other people. The descent to the ruins' walls is dangerous but exciting. There are no safety guards along the way. The hike takes about 60 minutes there and 60 minutes back."
