I don't think it's worth a visit all by its own if you're not close by, because it's pretty far from any other major tourist attraction, and it's a small place.
One last thing - to enjoy this place best, I'd recommend reading about its history first. We didn't have the time for that in the day of the visit, so we probably missed on some interesting facts ..
