"Accomodation in a quiet historical place. Rooms are cosy and the good materials used all over. Heating works well if needed. Service is very attentive and breakfast very good. You have a possibility to visit museum inside the convent."

"This beautiful hotel is located in a renovated convent with lots of artwork, a small archeological museum, and charming spaces. The rooms were spacious, quiet, and comfortable, the bathroom large. It invites quiet contemplation in a retreat style setting. No TVs in the rooms, but there's a large TV in a common room. You must climb stairs unless there's an elevator hidden somewhere that I missed. The staff was friendly, helpful, and informative. Great breakfast. The restaurant wasn't open the day we stayed, but there were good choices nearby. It is situated in a small village but very near the old walled Castle Monsaraz, also a great place to explore."
